why i chose real estate

A deliberate decision shaped by independence, responsibility, and long-term vision.

I began working independently at 15.

What started as helping members of my local community with snow shoveling, gardening, and household support gradually became consistent responsibility. By 16, I was managing independent work for individuals facing health challenges, balancing school while building a reputation based on reliability and trust.

Alongside this, I worked in retail and hospitality environments that required resilience, precision, and composure under pressure. These early experiences shaped a strong sense of accountability and a genuine respect for people.

Real estate became a natural progression. It sits at the intersection of strategy, negotiation, timing, and trust. Principles I had already learned to value.

After moving from Sweden to Los Angeles at 18, I committed to building a solid foundation in business and real estate. I serve as Vice President of External Affairs and am a founding board member of the Real Estate Association at Santa Monica College. In this role, I lead all external initiatives, including industry partnerships, professional outreach, sponsorship coordination, and guest speaker development. I work directly with active professionals in the Los Angeles market to establish long-term relationships between students and industry leaders.

I was selected for Project Destined’s Real Estate Private Equity internship and completed their Commercial Real Estate Fundamentals program, gaining practical experience in underwriting, market analysis, and investment evaluation.

This is a long-term pursuit, constructed deliberately for the global luxury real estate market.

I am building toward the international luxury real estate market, with Marbella as a long-term objective.

VISION

Where It Began

My connection to horses began early and remained a constant throughout my childhood.
It introduced me to a world centered around discipline, patience, and a quiet understanding of space and movement.

That foundation continues to shape how I view property today.

This is part of why I am drawn to equestrian and lifestyle-driven estates, and a direction I am intentionally working toward.

  • Chosen intentionally. Built patiently.

  • Los Angeles foundation. Marbella vision

  • Credibility over speed.

JOURNAL

  • At 18, I made a deliberate decision to build my foundation in the U.S. real estate market before expanding internationally.

This post outlines why positioning matters more than speed.

  • Serving on the founding board of the Real Estate Association at Santa Monica College requires more than a title.

This role is about representation, accountability, and building credible industry relationships.

  • Ambition without structure is fragile.

Before entering the international luxury market, I am intentionally developing technical knowledge and market awareness in one of the world’s most competitive real estate environments.
